Christmas eve with my manga

It's Christmas eve and yet I'm lazing home. Nooo, I didn't want to, but i have no plans, and no friends were available. You know, couples need time together. Sheesh. I've been staying home ever since I graduated, like for 4 months already. And there I go, all my zits popping up one by one!

Leaving that aside, yesterday I've been browing through daily motion to look up for SOUL'd OUT PVs. Sadly, I only found 3 of them, one included Yakitate ending theme, To All Tha Dreamers. This is the first song of theirs that I've heard off. I like th ebeat, the tune. Plus, the alfo guy was dancing that make the whole song even more interesting. However that was the anime MV, which I can't find it. Who are SOUL'd OUT and how they begin with? Honestly I know nothing about them except for their songs that I like. So I'm not a fan of them. I'll try to be! So wanna know more about them, head here. To have a look of their complete discography, go here. Below is the atatched MV.

SOUL'd OUT - To All Tha Dreamers
Uploaded by SHiSHioSaMaz

Yeah so that's about them. Very brief indeed. We move on to Otogi Zoushi. Shin-kun told me that Animax is showing Otogi Zoushi at 9pm last night. I totally forgot about it, and I missed it! By the time I noticed it, it's too late. But I still went on to click and see If there's any luck, to my surprised, my ANIMAX is gone, GONE! I click a few times channel 75, it says no channel here. I was shocked! Where did my channel went to? So i tried to turn off the astro decoder and turn in on again, but to no avail. I panicked, I PM almost everyone asking them to check if they have it, and they do, but why not me?! So I called up Astro in the middle of the night. I forgot, it's already way passed office hours. So I sat back and sulk, flipping the Astro guide book. At the last page, it shows the Parental Lock guide. So I click menu on the remote to check out the list of channel, and I FOUND back my ANIMAX! Astro had rearranged the channel, and it's now on channel 25. That's was really funny as I recall back. So yeah, Otogi Zoushi, since I missed it, It's now on its way into my HDD. Download are slow as usual, slow poke! I even downloaded the manga as I can't wait for it, and finish it in like less than an hour. Buy hey, there's only 2 volumes ok!?

So, it's no doubt a good manga, especially if you like those uhm, kamikaze stuff? I think that's what you call it. So as I was reading, this girl, Hikaru, is the princess of her family. However, she act to the contradict. Instead of living a princess, she behaves like a guy, or what you call spunky. She learns to swing her sword and to fight. One day, this guy called Takatoki came to kill Hikaru's brother, Raikou. He however failed to get Raikou's head so he abucted HIkaru instead. She then know what her brother did all these while, killing people to protect the capital. This weird enemy however fell for each other...and it's sad. Because raikou got sick, and Hikaru took over his place. Thus, she is ordered to kill Takatoki, and she did! And that's how it ends. How sad, even the last chapter title itself The Point of No Return. Sorry I suck at story telling. So that's about Otogi Zoushi. I can't wait for the download to finish. I wanna watch it like NOW!

So I found a few website about Otogi Zoushi. Sorry I'm really a kamikaze freak! So I'll try to get as much info as possible. And I even found the trailer! WooHoo! I'll link the official site here. Do check it out ONLY if you're interested. Very interesting trailer. Please support the artist by buying its original DVD, cuz I too am gonna buy 'em. For a longer info on Otogi Zoushi, please go to Wikpedia-Otogi Zoushi. I am so much, very much in love with Otogi Zoushi. Good Job Narumi Seto! Why so? Simply because this manga is more realistic, seriosly nothing like others. Though I said that before. Lolx.

Yuna Ito/MUCC vids

"Reira inspired Yuna Ito" with the song Endless Story caught my attention. She appeared in NANA movie and sang with Trapnest on stage. I was then deeply in love with her, and her song, still have a big impact on me.

Yuna Ito was borned on September 20th in Hawaii. She have a Japanese father and a Korean mother. That pretty much explain why she doesn't look so Japanese to me, compared to many others like Mika Nakashima. She graduated in McKinley High School in 2001. Later, she went back to Japan with her dad and started taking singing lessons. In 2005, she auditioned for Nana movie and got the role of Trapnest vocalist, Reira Serizawa. She then debuted "Reira starring Yuna Ito" with her song, Endless Story and he song hit number 2 of Oricon's single ranking. Her identity was kept secret until the end.

Since then she has released a few singles which I don't know what because I'm only interested on her role in Nana movie. Lolx. Toho had announced that Ito will still play the role of Reira in NANA 2. The second single of "Reira starring YUna Ito"with the song Truth had been released in December 6, early this month. It was rumored that Truth will be her last single in 2006 before her debut album comes out. According to Sony Music, Yuna Ito's debut album will be released on January 24, 2007 (CD+DVD), and Ito has confirmed it herself that it will be release on the same date later on.

So that's pretty much about her. Ohh and I love her latest single, Truth as well. It's much better than Endless Story. Below the MV of Truth.

Trivia: Yuna Ito and Angela Aki both went to the same Japanese language school. Woohoo, they're both of my fav singers.

Let's have some of MUCC now. I think I did mention how they come about is some previous post, I don't remember which. And I'm still deeply in love with them, especially with Saishuu Ressha. This song hit the highest play count in my iTunes, with 196times. I just know them like few weeks back, barely a month! I'm just all over them. Listen to Tatsu's voice. He's just so awesome. Ne-chan was the one who intro-ed MUCC to me!

How can I miss Utada when I'm in the mood for music, despite what's hapenning in the family. Lolx. Well she has released the latest single Boku no Kuma, but I didn't quite like that song. However, the MV was so cute. The kuma-chan(bear) can walk! lolx. My all time fav song of hers would be Colors. I like the tune, the music, the song, and everything about it!

Random Post

I haven't been updating lately. It's because my bro was admitted into the hospital. I haven't even visited some forums lately, and my manga are long to be updated. Anime release as usual are slow. However, I've downloaded a few new released;Ghost Hunt episode 4-6, Gintama episode 11-13; La Corda D'Oro episode 5; Nana 30&31; Nodame Cantabile episode 2-9. Uh-huh, I can never get enough of it. It's either there's no release at all, or all the release come out one shot. Although I have downloaded all these release, I have yet to watch them.

So many had asked, what's my wish for Christmas. I told them I wish my wish will be fulfilled. And now I know. I hope my bro will recover ASAP!! Really missed him, alot!

AnimeTech had a few Christmas released, but the way I see it, their release HAVE nothing to do with Christmas. Oh well well, what can I say. Ohh Yeah! I have officially release my third chapter of editing Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden Chapter 11. This release is available at Shoujo Crusaders.

Comic Fiesta was held in Sri Sedaya school at the 16th and 17th of December. I heard this year was much more hapenning than last year. I was so sad I couldn't make it!! I'm so frustrated. I heard there's Larcy bookmarks, and I really really wanted 'em. I so gonna go for next year one. *Oops, remembering I'm no longer here next December* More frustrated. That's all for now. Gonna have a long update next.

Bokura Ga Ita

I haven't blog about anything for quite some time. Was busy hunting for a job since I stayed home too long. And I'm finally free today. So I thought I'll blog something. I don't usually watch this type of heart-tearing scene, but I just happen to follow and I recommend it!

Let's say you like a guy who happens to like someone else. And you waited for him for a year and only until then he started to accept you because he think he likes you too. But after going out you happened to found out that your boyfriend's ex has the same name as you, and she's long dead, and you know he still loves her alot. What would you do? Do you continue your relationship or end it? And if you do continue that relationship you so much treasured, one day he told you he had sex with his ex's sister, how and what would you do then? Thinking you love him so much, you've decided to forgive him and go on. But 'till a day, you finally realised that he has not forgotten about his ex-not at all. He's still very much in love with his ex, more than you...Do you give up? And at the same time, you know your boyfriend best friend have feelings for you, and he's always there when you're down. Would you accept him? He always helped out when the both of you are in fight-middleman. And now...you have totally lose confident in your boyfriend, and his best friend come forward telling you he can make you happier, a thousand times happier than your boyfriend can, what would you say to that...?

That's how Nanami's life is. She knows she loves Yano very much, yet she's not confident in him because he kept hurting her. And there we have Takeuchi who always be there for Nana-everytime. He likes her really much, but can't bring himself to tell her that because she's Yano's girlfriend. Till one day, when Yano break his promise to meet Nana, and went for his ex's sister, Yamamoto instead, she started to lose confident...And best scene come in. Takeuchi finally confessed his love to her...

Arghz, I'm rooting for Takeuchi actually 'cuz he's such a nice guy. Never had he hurt Nana, or more like he never got a chance too. Lol. But I'm really sure if he got a chance, he wouldn't even think of doing that. But sadly, Nana loves Yano instead, the one who's always hurting her...I can't bear to watch on. I'm scared the ending would make me feel dissapointed. I'm scared I'll think that I've wasted all my time to watch this anime. LOL. Y es I am.

This is one of the song I soo like, Futari no Kisetsu ga. It's from the anime.

Below are a few screencaps for the latest episode, episode 24.

Nana-chan

Takeuchi-kun

Yano

This is when her heart is wavering...

And this, Takeuchi consoling her...

And this is when...Takeuchi-kun finally confessed...I wanna watch the ending!!

And as for today, I went to Borders and got myself this book - Rurouni Kenshin: Voyage to the Moon World. It was written by Kaoru Shizuka based on Nobuhiro Watsuki's concept. It may look like a manga to you, but this is definitely a book! Story book is what I call, not manga. I have yet to read it, so I don't know about it's content. And so that's all for today.

NANA/ Nodame Cantabile/ La Corda D'oro

I'm in the mood of NANA today...so I shall blog about it. How often can you find 'coincidence'?. How often can you find two different person who has the same name and same age? It all happens with NANA. This is another masterpiece of Ai Yazawa, if not the best mangaka ever. I never once feel bored whenever I'm with her mangas. Her works are just simply awesome, and I must stress that she's more of a realist than any other mangaka. But that doesn't mean I dislike Kanan Minami or Hino Matsuri or any other mangaka out there. Nana Koumatsu (Hachi) is always unlucky when it comes to guys. She was always two-timed. So one day she thought she has met the right guy, Shouji. After a while they dated, he decided to go to Tokyo to pursue his studies. Unbearable by such distance, Nana ran out from her house to look for him in Tokyo. On the way to Tokyo, she met a girl. Her name is also Nana Oosaki and so happen both were 20 years old. Our Nana Oosaki is a singer previously until Ren(her bf) left to Tokyo for Trapnest. She was so sad that she wanted to be a famous singer in order not to lost to Trapnest who has stolen her boyfriend away from her. And so the story goes on.....

This manga consists of 15 takoubans so far, and it is still ongoing in Japan. I have no idea how long will this manga be since it's so popular. They even have an anime for this, contaning 51 episodes, however so far only 29 episodes has been released. I'm still waiting for the remaining. I wanna know how it goes on. However, so far the anime has been following the manga pretty close. I wonder can they finish up the whole NANA series in 51 episodes...hmm, my doubt. Ohh and there'll be a NANA 2 movie coming up. Hmm I don't know if it's just me but I think Mika Nakashima don't suit for Nana Oosaki character. As has been seen in NANA movie, MIka Nakashima is pretty cool tempered when the Nana character she played supposed to be hot tempered. Hmm...And also in NANA 2, they changed actress who plays Hachi character. Our new Hachi doesn't even suit her style. She's too matured looking to play Hachi role....Gimme back my old Hachi!

Anyway leaving that aside, what I wanna show is Nana style. I love her punk style, with the black eyeliner, short skit, with stokings, of course her accesories...arghz.. I don't know how to explain. To have a better look....

*Pic taken from Nana-nana.net*

And how I wish there's Vivien Westwood store in Malaysia. I love most of their rings, especially the one that Nana is using.

*Pic taken from Hervia.com*

So that's about NANA. Next we go to Nodame Cantabile. This is about the son of a famous pianist, Shinichi Chiaki who dream to study abroad and become a conductor just like his mentor. Sadly his fear of flying has blown his plans away. He then become pessimistic as his friends achieved everything that he always wanted, so he was thinking if he should just quit music. He, however, then met a new student, Megumi Noda(Nodame). She can't cook, she can't clean, she can't even keep her own room tidy, but she can play the piano in incomparable Cantabile style. She then teaches or reminded Chiaki of something he has long forgotten, that is to enjoy music no matter where he is. I personally haven't read the manga, but it sound so interesting that I'm downloading it NOW! Lolx. The anime is yet to be released till next year. However, currently they're having a life-action drama based on the manga, and it's been runinng until episode 8/11 now.

In the live-action drama, Fuji TV employees has come up with the idea of opening tha cafe in July. Thsi is in order to promote the series. The team members has asked about 100 eating and drinking establishments in Tokyo for their co-operation. Here are the cast for the life action series....
I don't know if it's just me or what but somehow I felt that the main female lead Juri Ueno really look like the manga character. And the male lead, Hiroshi Tamaki does not exactly look like. =p

Now we move on to La Corda D'oro. Hino Kahoko transfer to this musicial school. And one day she happen to meet the fairy of that musicial school. Because she's the only one who can see the little fairy, Lili, thus Lili gave Hino a magical violin. Even though its a magic violin, Hino has to put her heart into it to play out a wonderful tune. Thus it's all about her feeling towards the music. She was then selected to join the concurs, though she doesn't know how to play any instruments. She then meet Tsukimori Len, who also play the violin. However, Len treated her coldly because he thinks she's his rival after the incident where whe plays his song better than him. Ahahah. Then there's Ryou(Tsuchiura Ryoutarou), who plays the piano but stopped a long time ago because of the previous concurs(never mention what exactly happen). We have also Kazuki Hihara who plays the trumpet. He's a happy going person, bubbly and talks alot. He alwats cheer up Hino-chan when she's down. There's on time he played a song together with Hino at the garden(center) if the school and attracted all students there. Yunoki Azuma is a rich, and very popular among the girls in the school. He's a nice guy who always help Hino-chan. Yunoki plays the flute. And we also have Shimizu Keiichi who plays the cello. He rarely make any apprearance(so far) in the anime. Keiichi always sleep at the back of the school. I think that explain his rare appearance. So you've heard all the character so let me introduce who is who.

Left to right(top): Kazuki Hihara, Shimizu Keiichi, Kanazawa Hiroto, the teacher(not intro), Ousaki Shinobu, just showed up in episode 4(not intro), and Tsuchiura Ryoutarou. Left to right(bottom): Yunoki Azuma, Hino Kahoko, and Tsukimori Len.

Episode: 4(ongoing)
Original Creator: Yuki Kure
Series Director: Shin Katagai
Art Director: Chikako Shibata
Anime director: Noriko Tejima
Music: Mitsutaka Tajiri
OP: Brand New Breeze by Kanon
ED: CRESENDO by Stella Quintet

I guess I'm in the mood for music anime this season. It's also my inspiration to play the piano again! That's because I want to learn to play all of the anime song(if possible). But I simply sucks at playing piano. Mind me because I've stopped for 6 years! Eheheh. See stupid of me not to update now I have so much to tell....LOLXx XD

MUCC/ Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou/ Kiyoharu PV

Arghz. I can't restrain myself from updating my blog. I just must!! My mind think one and body act otherwise. So I have to. I woke up at 12pm sharp! And I dash toward my computer and started browsing if there's any new anime & manga updates. There isn't much updates on the anime section. However, from the manga section, Entropy, ShoujoCrusaders, and Shoujo Manga Maniac has came out with some release. I was pretty much upset because no new anime release. So I watch Night Head Genesis. It seems to me like there's not much review on this anime, nor many people watch this. Why is that so? I personally think this anime is quite interesting. Both brothers, Naoki and Naoya have supernatural powers. One able to control things with mind, and the other able to read people's mind. However, when I watch episode 8 and above, it started to get me bored. I then stopped. :p Maybe you could help me watch and review on it, and I'll consider continue watching? Lolx. Ohh well I'll post up a review on it later when I finish it. Ahaha.

Last night I browse through the net and happen to get some good music. I have to idea of where to download it though, just listen it online..arghz...i lost the link. =_= Anyway I browse through back my music directory. WoOT! Afterall my music alone occupied almost 20Gb of my HDD by now. I was listening to /\ucifer. They're not at great as Larcy, but their song is not bad either. This band was originally from Mayu Shinjo's manga, Kaikan Phrase. Later on, 5 lads formed the same group as was in the manga. /\ucifer consists of Sakuya, Yuki, Atsuro, Towa and Santa. Sakuya may be the main lead, but the band was found by Santa and Yuki. Oh well I like the anime/manga version of Yuki more than the real life one. Lol. I'm in the mood for their song, Sekai de Ichiban Kireinamono and Dummy. I've uploaded both so you can listen by clicking the player below.

Sekai de Ichiban Kireinamono

Dummy

And then i browse through some J-Rock stuff. I found out this cool blog all bout J-Rock. WooHoo...And apparently she introduced some MUCC song - Gerbera, it's even being played in the backgroud. Woosh, it's good! So starting today, I'm into MUCC as well. I'm now looking around to download its album. This band was formed in 1997 and Miya(gutarist) was the one who came up with the band name. Wanna have a look at how MUCC is...here ya go....
So that's MUCC. Tatsusou the vocals, Miya the guatarist, Yukke the bass, and Satochi the drumer.

*Pic courtersy of LJ*

Today manga pick would be.....Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou. The story is getting more interesting. Hirata broke into Chiemi's house in order to see her because they have been apart for almost a week. Why is that so? Because Chiemi's dad does not approve Hirata as his daughter's boyfriend. So he(Chiemi dad, also a fighter) challenged Hirata over the TV. LMAO. See how the story goes on the next chapter. Sweet. It's the same mangaka as Girl Got Game, as I have introduced in the previous post. Long live Shizuru Seino! This manga is now being scanlated by Condensation. So far they have only released until Volume 2 Chapter 4. I have no idea how many volume alltogether. So far there's 5 volumes and it's still ongoing in Japan. So check out for updates.

*Pic courtersy of Condensation*

I have just finish downloaded Kiyoharu's SLow PV. However, I'm too dumb to know how to upload it so I found the exact same PV that has been uploaded by Mayan in YouTube. This song (Slow) is the opening theme for Yamamoto Nadeshiko Sinche Henge. Don't know what is that? It's a anime directed by Shinichi Watanabe. I'll post up a review on this later on too.

*Pic taken from ANN*

So here's the PV. Enjoy....

It's now fall/winter season. I wan't to eat nabe with my kotatsu...... *Samui* Lolx. Not like Malaysia have these season. =p

Girl Got Game/ Angela Aki/ Miyavi

Today was misery. I waited the whole day to use the computer. Why? Because my bro had to do his assignment. Arghz. I'm so restless that I kept eating the whole day. While waiting for my turn to use the computer, I 'korek' balik all my manga to read. So I took out the very first English version manga I bought, Girl Got Game! At first I was really paranoid whether I should buy the manga cuz Borders used to have free reading. And I read this manga and instantly fell in love with it. I still remember the first I bought it cost RM40.19. See I even remember the 19cents. LolS. There's total of 10 takouban all together. Erm, it's worth a read.

Ok so that's my collection of Takouban(volume) 1-5.

And this is the other 5 takouban, 5-10. Hooray the complete set is in my hand now!

Well I have to say Shizuru Seino works are great. Not only this title, but she kept impressing me with her other works such as Heaven!! and her latest manga, Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou. I wish I could get them ASAP as I'm only having the softcopy with me, yes I mean the downloaded version. So grab this at least. Spoilers --> *It's about cross dressing and basketball*
And so If you like this manga, you can try Hana Kimi. It's similar to this, but Hana Kimi is much longer (23 takoubans) and it's about high jump sports. Hehehe.

Ohh and today I switched on the Animax channel. I was soo bored that I had to watch it. And they have this short MV. I was watching Angela AKi's MV, Kiss me Goodbye. Gosh I fell in love with her again. I first noticed her from the anime BLOOD+. She sang the third ending song, This Love. I love her voice and the piano playing. Arghz. I wish I can play as she does. Well beside Angela Aki, the only Jap female artist I like would be Mika Nakashima. I love her when she plays the piano and sings. And also Utada Hikaru. I'm not aware of her talent except that she can sing. Lolx. So here I present you Angela Aki with Kiss Me Goodbye.

As I was in ShoujoCrusaders forum, somehow I was reminded about Miyavi! Yeah my all time favourite. So I went to youtube to check out if there's any new PV of his. However, I found out this really cool life of his. Him with his guitar solo. WOOT!! It's so darm great you guys have to watch this. I wish I could touch him too!!!! MIYAVI-sama!!!

Black Blood Brothers

WooHoo..!! See my new publised blog. I've stayed up all night, well almost whole night to edit this thing so it'll align and look good. So how do you find it? Cool yea. I personally love the 3 columns and the template as well. It was rather hard to adjust the width of each boxes, the height, and some CSS and HTML modification. Sheesh. Finally got it right.

Since I like this blog so much, who knows I might ditch the xanga blog. Ahaha. Because
1) This blog is easier to modidy
2) I can insert my playlist here
3) More user-friendly?

A lil' updates on my anime network. Lolx. I'm not very much to comedy anime, more of action. So let's talk about Black Blood Brother (BBB). This anime has finally end its series last week. Thanks to Kyuuketstuki fansub who picked up this project. Mochizuki Jorou, also known as Silver Blade who fought with the bloodline of Kowloon Child despite the loss of his love, Alice. 10 years later, he returned to Japan with his younger brother Kotarou. However, they both discovered at the bloodline of Kowloon Child still exists and they're planning to break into Special Zone. Special Zone is a protected are and no one are allowed in unless invited. Thus they came up with a plan to trick cordinator, Mimiko-chan to invite them there.

When I first looked at Kotarou, I thought he was Jirou and Alice child. But it turned out that he's the reircarnation of Alice. No wonder they looked similar. I was hoping this anime to be longer, because 12 episode is too short for this anime. The ending is left hanging, which is kinda dissapointing.
