Karei-naru Ichizoku
Looking for a new show to watch and don't know which? Try Karei-naru Ichizoku, stars Takuya Kimura.
When I first downloaded, I was reluctant to watch because the subs were not out out. Now it's out until episode 5, I watched it all yesterday, and I'm craving more more as episode 6 and 7 is out but only without the subs!!! WAAAAHHH! One thing I can assure, its a good show.
This story is adapted from a novel by Yamazaki Toyoko and a movie in 1974. It shows the conflict of interest between Manpyo Daisuke (Kitaooji Kinya), a powerful banker, and his eldest son, Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the executive managing director of a steel firm. Daisuke dislike Teppei because Teppei had chose to follow his grandfather path to work in a steel industry than to follow his dad into the banking world-and also Teppei looked very much alike his grandfather. Not liking his son, Daisuke tried to crush him in every way he could. For more detail info, go here. For the official site, click here.
I seriously think this is the best Japanese dorama so far. I can't explain how, but you'll know when you watch this! A MUST WATCH show. Grab this.

Oh so this is Karei-naru Ichizoku ...
Yerp. Looks interesting yes? See the big blue cross I did, that's to differentiate the good and the bad. The bad one have X on them. Lolx.
Hmm.... coincidentally I came across a short article stating Japan's TBS aired the final episode of this popular drama on Sunday (18/3). Because of this drama, viewer rating hit the highest of 44.9 percent for this drama alone. Must be really good ~
